I feel like a freaking loser drummer when my sticks go flying in the air. (No, it was not a stunt.)At first, it was funny. But now, it is irritating.
I'm learning to play with one hand now, so that in any case my stick slips off again, I will not stumble and cause a disruption to the worship.
As I was sitting on the drum's stool, praying that the stick will not fly out of my hand again, I felt so crushed. I felt like the flying drum stick while my hand was God. How many times have I "slip" off from Him and turned away from Him? Why do I keep doing that when I have experienced His goodness and His love so many times?? WHY? Why is it that the drum stick keep sliding off from my grasp? Why is it that I, keep running away from God?
What use can a pair of drumstick have when its on its own? It can do NOTHING. But when it's in the hands of the Sovereign one, it can make - GREAT MUSIC.
